I tried Not Your Father's Root Beer after the hype last week. I much prefer a shot of whiskey and a bottle of Virgil's RB to wash it down.

So, at the Casino I work at we have some Konami branded and maintained electronic slot machines. These are the vans they travel in when they are out for maintenance reasons. It always freaks me out a little bit when I see them. When I was signing in one of their vendors I tried to make a Metal Gear reference real low key and dude didn't react at all and it made me sad a little bit.

@awkwardloser: Yeah a bit of a bummer. I disagree with Dan that it's not frustrating to listen to. Either talk about it properly or don't. 45 minutes of two guys going "oh that bit at the Bamboo garden holy shit" and dozens of other "how about _that thing_" discussions wherein they basically keep repeating that the game is clever and makes you feel smart/dumb/crazy is about 40 minutes too much.

Well, apparently none of them understand why we have phases of the moon. I expected more from Brad, at least.
