That picture of ET is more scary than Daylight. Can't wait to give this a listen later instead of sleeping.

I love E3, I hope they keep doing it. I love the press conferences and all the overblown nonsense that surrounds it. I would trade my piece-of-shit job to be stuck in a stinky conference hall in LA looking at video games in a heart beat.

I understand I am approaching it from the perspective of someone who does not work in the games press so I can't really know what it is actually like, but to me E3 is always one of my favorite times of the year.

Grant (Glasgow),

If you have a limited income and you are considering a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, don't think you can't afford a PC. If you have enough money to buy one of those you have enough money to buy yourself a great PC. Trust me, as someone who is a first time PC gamer going on 2 years now - I've never been happier. I've also been able to rebuild most of my Xbox 360 library (including the Market Place items that are not compatible with Xbox One) on the PC. It's actually a lot less expensive then you think.

My Specs: (bought these October 2012) -

  • ZOTAC AMP! GeForce GTX 670 GPU (I went over board on this)
  • Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge CPU
  • Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 8GB (2 x 4GB)
  • Samsung 830 128GB - Solid State Drive SSD

(I'm going to add another SSD since they are significantly cheaper now)

  • Windows 7 64bit OS
  • Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM - Hard Disk Drive HDD
  • COUGAR-1050W ATX12V PSU
  • Cooler Master Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler
  • Asus Maximus V Gene MOBO
  • NZXT Phantom 410 Gunmetal Steel - Case
  • Asus VG236HE 23" LED 120hz Monitor (got this on Amazon for a incredible deal, just because it has one dead pixel in the upper right hand corner) - Plan to add another monitor soon.

Use NewEgg, Amazon and PC Part Picker to help give yourself an idea. Also check out YouTube for build ideas, and video tutorials.
