All of the games are now available at the same time, at the start of the month. You literally have to visit the store once to download all the stuff. You actually don't even have to turn on the console to do it. You can log in online, add to cart, and then purchase your free games.

As far as a physical version of Hearthstone is concerned, Hearthstone is actually a digital version of the World of Warcraft card game that lasted from 2006-2013. It was cancelled so they could invest the money into Hearthstone.

RE: Physical Hearthstone, I'd say probably not. There are too many token cards if anything, as well as cards that change minions to other stuff. You also have to remember the order of deathrattles, secrets etc in order of when you play them, and you have to remember that stuff over several turns. You add on top of that keeping track of buffs, debuffs, stat changes, temporary effects like freezing, and the random nature of a bunch of cards (can you imagine rolling 8 dice for avenging wrath?)... the point is, there's just enough stuff to be aware of and keep in mind that it would either be painfully slow, or it would need a bunch ancillary tokens or coins that I don't think it would be fun to play with physical cards.

To be fair, Magic does almost all of this in a live setting easily (flip cards mimicking the change/choose cards, buffs and debuffs being measured in Magic with pen&paper), minus stuff like Avenging Wrath and Deadly Shot which could be just as easily solved if the max creature board was a nice die roll. Just as fair, that would make physical Hearthstone almost as hard as Magic which isn't the end goal of the game anyways.

This 100%. I started the Bombcast on my way to work this morning and this was my thought exactly. If nothing else, can we get this as the member shirt for next year?!!

Their ad reads are the reason I enjoy them so much, and I have used the offer codes on a couple of different items so far for this reason. I would much rather they continue doing their style rather than do a boring ad read like you get on other podcasts.

Regarding the Broken Age documentary, firstly you can go and watch that for $10. It is so exactly what Brad said he was looking for the episodes after part 1 came out have had the total sales and revenue of the game at the end. For the backers there have been 30min+ interviews with everyone on the team.
