Dan Ryckert is so fucking stupid; he's great.

This Weeks Podcast maked me laugh so hard just perfect and man I like Dan more from Week to Week he seems like a good honest Guy that fits great in the Bombsquad . Also nice to see Drake around ,hope it happens often now and last but not least as much as im loving Jeff ,Brad seems the right Host as long as he grows a little more Balls ;) thx Guys

oh my god, Dan's glasses story just killed me, god damn I couldn't stop laughing, and at the same time I just want to bitch slap him for eternity for how stupid what he did was, being someone that had to use stupid glasses since I was 10...

• Deadly Premonition
• Resident Evil 4

Mainly I want to know how does the internal team handles multiple restart, changes in direction, and just plain weirdness.

This is Pinwheel. It basically WAS Nickelodeon for a couple of years. Man, Brad Shoemaker put his finger right on my childhood with this one.

I could see why Sony hired @johndrake. So that he could appear in Bombcast more often!

That microburst story was fucking hilarious. Having been born and raised in the Midwest, I can tell you that it's pretty fucking hard to miss storms like that, but it happens to the best of us.

Just in case anybody wondered about that "reconstructing sound from video" thing that Drake talked about. Good to know that Drake is hanging out at same odd places of the Internet like I do :D

When is Drake going to reveal that he went to Sony to work on Vib Ribbon, which is a rumor I am starting right now that is not based on reality.

I heard from a reliable source that that is 100% correct.

I feel like Brad and Drake should know that Barkerville is at least a 22 hour drive north of San Fransico. By all means go for it boys.

How the hell did i not know Dan in college? That Micro-burst morning in Lawrence, Kansas was freaking WILD! Had an entire tree down behind my car for over three day, and i couldnt get out of the driveway or go to class. So i watched star wars.......weird......

I'm not one of those weird internet people who don't like someone they've never met IRL, it's just that glib PR-speak does my head in. Cool that you bothered to respond to my post. going to give the rest of the podcast a listen tonight, so no worries.

Don't worry about pronunciation in Japanese Jon, it's an absolute cakewalk. There are only 5 vowel sounds, they are 100% consistent (only variation is length), all consonant sounds a familiar to all natives of Germanic languages and the language itself is pretty much structured with nothing but consonant+vowel structured rhythmic syllables which makes is extremely easy to pronounce. Pretty much anyone over the age of 3 can learn to pronounce Japanese in less than 10 minutes... It's a cakewalk... Chinese is the impossible one...

So yeah, pronouncing Japanese is Easy. Learning to understand the language and read it however, that's tough as nails though. A total mindfuck really...

It's a fantastic time to be a space sim fan :D! I am excited about Star Citizen and No Man's Sky, and particularly excited about Elite Dangerous (day 1 Kickstarter backer). I was one of three backers chosen to be ambassadors for the game at E3, and even bumped into Brad and Alex which was very cool!

I was really bummed out by the Star Citizen dogfight module, but I still think that game has potential to be stunning, and am particularly looking forward to story mode. I am loving Elite at the moment, though that has severe balance issues that need to be fixed before release (planned for the end of this year). I am very excited to see Drew's quick looks of these games!

Shame all these people I like keep going to work for a company who's console I don't own. Good luck at Sony Mr. Drake!

So, after reading the Foreword to Air Force Gator II on Amazon, I think I've got to side with Canseco on the "Who was being a dick?" question. Granted, I have never seen Jose's Twitter feed, but Dan talked about sending hundreds of insulting, unsolicited tweets at Jose.... I don't see why that makes Jose Canseco the bad guy?

As funny as Dan is I literally don't know how he survived to adulthood.
