Does anyone else feel like the GB crew has been phoning it in since E3? I love this site, I`m a premium subscriber, I've just been disappointed in my perceived lack of effort.

I think I want to play the game that No Man's Sky wishes it were. I don't really want to keep playing the game it is at the moment.

Maybe it'll be improved down the line, but as the crew said, I think I've had my fill at this point and am unlikely to be back. It's such a shame that the game was marketed in the way it was and that either (a) Hello Games felt forced to put it out when it was so thin or (b) they really didn't see a problem with the lack of content in there right now.

If anyone has the same problem Brad had with No Man's Sky -- trying to shoot down a flying species in order to scan it -- try switching to the Mining Beam instead of the Boltcaster. It's hitscan, so it works much better for flying fauna.

@scott ster: They're down a person, a bunch of people have been sick, and there isn't a ton going on besides. Madden comes out next week--things in games always pick up around then.

Is it just me or do these video podcasts always have a really low volume mix?

I tend to have to crank my speakers quite high to hear them.

Surprised it took so long for anyone to even allude to the infamous armpit hair moment at the beginning of MGS2.

They didn't discuss the new hitman mission probably because none of them have seen it yet. I'm so looking forward to the quick look on this because it's to me the hardest by far. I don't want to say the Brad can't do it because I have faith in him. But I don't think it's going to be simple.

I could be wrong there could be some very easy and obvious ways to get the targets that I missed or chose not to do. So it's gonna be fun.
