I think naval terminology makes the most sense for space battles simply because the way we envision spaceships very much fits the mold of naval battles with your large cruisers firing broadsides, your more nimble corvettes etc.

Even in the USAF, we have military traditions that go back to the middle ages. It's not beyond the pale to assume space future 20XX would still be saying oscar mike. IMO, naval tradition would carry into space ships.

I put in a good 500 hours into HITMAN on PS4, and the difference between the loading times and overall visual fidelity on PC is insane... I don't know, but my 4k Samsung tv only cost a grand last year, and in 4k, HITMAN is gorgeous, as is everything else. If my TV is kind of cheap, then that just goes to show how accessible 4k gaming is, since the TV I bought last year is probably only 600 bucks now, and it's 55 inches.

The one game I would expect to stick with military lingo through thick and thin, horses and space ships is Call of Duty - and in a way it's comforting to hear these military people use somewhat familiar terms in an otherwise completely detached future world.

I'm sure this was mentioned in chat, but the wall run double jump was not a bug, it's from jumping after the wall run has ended. So you are falling and get the boost jump but never had the original jump.

Studying film and how shopping/consumption has changed from brick-and-mortar shops to streaming services and online shops, even if you're still buying DVDs, sales models have changed from changing one thing at a time in massive quantities to selling more different things for a longer time, thinking of people going back to like "oh I'm gonna buy all these Transformers toys" or "man I remember Yugioh, I'd buy a couple of these for nostalgia". You can't afford shelf space to keep that many things, but having a warehouse full of just weird shit, coupled with the rise of online communities where likeminded people can say "Oh man remember Transformers/Yugioh/whatever", means that it's just the way things are going now. This might the most obvious shit in the world, just thought it was worth mentioning in relation to the preorder discussion.
