I wonder when Brad will stop saying that Switch owners are starved for games. It's not like there are a dozen games that came out last week, most they havent even played/QL yet.

I really like the progression in Forza 7. Too bad that no staff on GB/GBE actually like "sim" racing games.

Brad, dunno if you’ve seen it but Ninja Theory made waaaaaay more behind-the-scenes videos documenting the creation of Hellblade that are available on their Youtube page. They’re worth a look!

Why would you talk about a postshow podcast and then not tell anyone where they can find it??

They said they didn't like the gear they got in the Raid. but the gear in the Raid is something I only care about for beating it. After I do the Raid I'm done. Like the very moment its over i'm moving to other games. End gear in the Raid to me is like getting a coupon at a restaurant I know i'm not coming back to.

@roy42: Yeah, there's... Zelda. I guess you might buy a console for that if you didn't have a Wiiu.

One of my few luddite habits as a 40yo is that I still listen to CDs. My phone link is for podcasts like this fine CBSi production.

Brad, I got a EU SNES Classic. I had to pay a bit more than retail obviously but still found a decent deal when I strayed from Amazon(which didn't let me ship it to the US, and was like $100 more than retail lol.) Also got the Japanese carrying case...I can't wait for it to show up.

Also Brad I think you might like Jamestown. It's an arcade style shooter than I don't remember being too hardcore or bullet-hell-y, and it's on Steam and I do remember it being quite good.

Glad to see Pokemon Steve got a quick shout-out. So many legendary quotes came from him during the after raid run.

How about Nintendo just release a Star Fox 2 SNES cart?
Sure, it might be a niche market, but there's clearly demand for it, and people still own SNES consoles.

It's unheard of for a major video game company to do such a thing, but... maybe it shouldn't be so uncommon?

Obviously these video game companies want to put most of their weight into their latest console... but all of these old consoles still exist, and they're all so unique in terms of hardware, so it'd be interesting to see more games released for them in an official capacity, not just little homebrew projects. Perhaps this could be the start of such a thing?
And even if it isn't... Star Fox 2 still deserves such a treatment, even if it's a small run of carts.

@demoskinos: that sounds less fun than cheating in singleplayer. what is the point of dropping all that upfront cost for a 20 min-a several hour, joyride?

@exogen: Some people just want to skip to the end and do current content so they can jump in with friends and stuff. I agree though as i think a lot of the story in FFXIV is really good and some of the best stuff square has done in years but also getting to end game XIV right now from scratch would most likely take most people at least a month or better of daily play. Thats a lot to ask so i can see people not wanting to commit.
