To the guy who wrote in about DS4windows, if you play most of your games through Steam, you shouldn't need it.

Steam has it's own built in XInput controller emulator to support the Steam controller and Valve added Dual Shock 4 support through Steam itself. You have to set it up though, it's not automatic.

Your Left 4 Dead conversation made me think you guys had never played Warhammer Vermintide. It is a Left 4 Dead clone with pretty satisfying combat, and player progression. It has some flaws, but I am very excited for the sequel coming next year.

@sweetz: A warning, there are still some steam games that still only support DS4 if you go through DS4windows. Shantae & the Pirate Curse is one of them.

If Twitch says a module is missing, try disabling adblockers. That worked for me.

Getting Over It should only be played with Trackpad Tuning. The controls by default are really terrible. It's got crazy mouse acceleration by default but the trackpad tuning option removes it.

Brad was playing with trackpad tuning on, Jeff was not. This is why Jeff finds the controls bad and Brad doesn't.

@brad: Just to clarify, part of Crytek's claim is that StarCitizen _isn't_ using CryEngine, which is in violation of the license they agreed (lower license fee in exchange for display Crytek's logos etc. in splash screen):

On December 23, 2016, Defendants announced that they were using the Amazon Lumberyard video game engine for Star Citizen. The GLA [license agreement] did not permit Defendants to use any other video game engine in Star Citizen except for CryEngine.

Looking at the development footage likely comes from a separate part of the complaint, where Crytek allege that source code was shown that should have been kept private:

Sections 2.2.1, 2.2.2, and 2.6 of the GLA contained a promise by Defendants that they would keep the underlying technology for CryEngine (including computer source code) confidential [...] On May 6, 2015, Defendants began posting a series of videos online titled "Bugsmashers." The videos contain excerpts of information from CryEngine that were confidential, in breach of the GLA, and should not have been shown to the public.

The full complaint is fairly short and quite readable, so definitely worth a look if you are interested in the extent (there's a fair amount to it) exactly what Crytek allege.
