Getting awfully close to pulling the trigger on Lumines Remastered.

Another week, a new bombcast, life is good.

This is the first time I've seen the word "carburetor" spelled out and it is upsetting me.

In regards to the enemy amount in a game, anything that uses the SWARM engine is a contender. There was a PC Starship Troopers game that was pretty fun and had a good amount of bugs trying to kill you on screen at any one time.

I decided to look at how far that Atari Rollercoaster Tycoon crowdfunding thing was at StartEngine. Turns out the page has been 404ed. Woops.

The dota player that got caught for using macro's didn't get caught before, because he hasn't been playing any significant matches for a while. November 2015 was the first & last time he played at a Valve event, and since then he hasn't been playing any LANS apart from a tournament in Peru that's not part of Valve's major / minor circuit. His team is trying to brush it off as the rules being unclear because the macro's are just an option of his mouse and not an external hack or script...

When it comes to Three Fields Entertainment, They have made 3 games now and none of them were great. In this interview it's clear why this is the case. They don't have sufficient funding to make a big game, and are openly soliciting for a publisher or investor to help them out. 3-4 months of development was the maximum amount of time they set for themselves to release a new game at the time the interview was released. Mostly because the sales of one game is the funding for the other game. That's why we got 3 middling small scope games out of them so far. Them announcing that they're coming with 2 new games at a similar timeframe sounds like they're still throwing stuff at the wall, and hoping that one of them hits it off with the audience. Maybe it will happen, i don't know. But i feel like emphesizing how you're the people behind Burnout all the time comes with certain expectations. Expectations that they just can't deliver on, with their situation as precarious as it is right now.

I think UEBS (Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator) currently has the highest enemy count in a 3D action game. They recommend not going over 10,000 units, but you can try up to 100,000.

As far as unreleased games go, Wing Commander 2 was ported to the SNES but never released. Review copies existed but none have ever surfaced.

Jeff talks briefly about The Crew 2 not having proper brands. I can confirm that there were Papa John’s and Red Bull sponsored races the more you levelled up. Thats about the time I stopped played.

I’ve never even noticed the sound that the Switch rumble makes. Xbox One on the other hand is ridiculous, I can hear that through headphones.

Ben, search Steam for Serious Sam Fusion and purchase the Serious Sam games while they're on sale. Croteam is updating the older games and using Fusion as a front end. They hold up really well, although - as someone mentioned on the podcast - they're very much 90s-style shooters. They're very intense, though, with tons of enemies on-screen at times.

Time Trax feels like a notable unreleased game if only for the fact it has Tim Follin music (50hz supremacy).

What was the Name oft the mobile game Ben spoke about?
