Every time I bring up the modern world stuff is what I wanted out of Assassin's Creed I've been shot down. Good to know Jeff and others know what's up.

Mike makes Assassins Creed sound like Shadow of Mordor with the teleportation.

Neat to see Netgear pop up. Don't know this product in particular, but the last few times i had to search for a network solution i ended up with a netgear product for a good price and both times i've been generally impressed.

I got my little kitten 1 day before Jeff. He's a little rascal, not afraid of anything. We didn't do the whole 'keep them seperated' thing though. Both cats seem fine with eachother. I admire going through that whole ordeal that Jeff is going through though!

Mike has grown on me. Felt like he was sort of bland before, but he did a great job here i thought. Interesting how he seemed to give a few jabs to gamespot for their entertainment fortnite focused coverage. It often seems like gamespot people are having quite some friction with what the higher ups at gamespot want them to focus on.

I hope that CD Projekt Red forbid any of its employees from playing let alone seeing RDR2, lest they may decide to delay Cyberpunk 2077 by another year or two.

@darkswordsman: I remember by assassins creed 3 people would say they dont like modern day stuff. I was sad cause reviewers also gave kudos for including less real world stuff cause it was too slow and boring. I dont know. I kinda enjoyed the overarching story cause it gave reason to why im doing what im doing. Otherwise its just a simulation of 2 years of some warrior's life. That said they completed the story started in 3 with a short comic you can look up. For now assassins creed is just a name to sell copies cause its just a fun pretty sandbox mission simulator. Starting to lose what made it special...like giving guns in skyrim...sure it would be fun but the old day feel and jank kinda make skyrim skyrim. EHHH.

I wouldn't exactly call the FOTNS manga/anime dark and gritty. It's super campy

It would have relevant to mention that Bethesda came out and said Fallout 76 does not support crossplay and it was not on their radar, even after Sony’s announcement.

@lyndbako: I guess it's usually your regular fantasy thing that might as well be for kids, but then there's like three instances of _dark_ with that family raping and abusing this one girl forever, also including Shinji's general rapeyness that keeps getting him karmatically murdered, and finally Kotomine keeping many victims of a fire(including lots of children as far as I recall) alive as human batteries for Gilgamesh to fuel himself on. Fate doesn't have the most elegant tone shifts I know of.
