I don't like this trend of video versions not going up.

There was a video before too long last week and there will no doubt be one for this episode. I understand preferring video, I do too, but it's the holidays, cut folks some slack

@ya13ismyluckyno: Cut them some slack for not doing their job? If they can upload an audio file they can upload a video file. If I only did half my job I wouldn't have the people paying me cutting me slack.

@benmo316 His job is for GamesBeat. This is a side gig, and who pays him is Giant Bomb. If they are fine with his work, in a very popular segment, then you can either surrender the rest of your subscription and walk away, or go with where the company is going in people over jackassery and entitlement.

@benmo316: Since it said uploaded by Jason, uploading them isn't even his job. Which means video has to be sent across the country, and probably edited by someone before it goes up.

@aeravon: I really don't care if the video goes up or not, but don't get it twisted: GB Premium subscribers pay for this "side gig", not GamesBeat.

I choose to believe this was an artistic choice, as a sort of performance art to remind us that people are off for the holidays and, thus, we should temper our expectations for news, for updates, for patches, for really anything at all. It's really a morality tale to teach us to cool our damn jets.

And I'm just overall very impressed at the execution.
