I thought the Sony state of play was actually pretty packed given that it was only 20 minutes, I think the main issue is more (aside from overhyping yourself) that this type of showcase would be fine in a vacuum, but less so if you wait like half a year for the next one.

Any reason the video version is taking longer and longer to get up on the site? Other than life getting in the way, I mean.

I know it has been taking longer recently (and I don't know if you watched live), but Jeff was having major freezing on his video stream which might contribute to that this week perhaps.

More doors than wheels

The reason for time limited demos is almost certainly a well calculated marketing move, right?

Get everybody playing and talking about it at the same time to maximize the impact, plus create fomo to get people to check it out right away instead of planning to do so later and probably forgetting.

Though now that I had a closer look at it, that tactic seems more viable with a tighter window, this case really is weird. Befitting the game though, I guess

I am inclined to agree, if we apply a very narrow definition of wheel. Wheel in the sense, that it is used for transportation in contact with the ground.

Otherwise things get out of hand fast, many types of conveyor belts could be described as being made out of hundreds of wheels.

@jeffgrubb RE: Ovechkin, he said a lot of stuff around Russia's invasion of Crimea back in 2014 that, along with happily being his skating buddy in the offseason, firmly established him as 100% in Putin's corner. The Capitals got a reporter who criticized Ovechkin in 2014 blacklisted from covering just about any event (not just with the Caps), effectively ending that reporter's career. This isn't to say it's being done for the right reasons, but there's a history that suggests keeping Ovechkin in promos and ads would blow up way more than, say, pushing Artemi Panarin (a vocal critic of Putin).
