Yeah, I would be shocked if that ever became an option. I'm in the exact same boat by the way, but I'm not expecting it to carry over between consoles like that :/

Only way it'd be possible is if it had a similar system to Bioware games and uploaded your licenses to an external Harmonix site rather than the Microsoft/Sony store. Looks like a lot of us will be rebuying a lot of DLC. The only thing thats an issue for me is getting 1-3 on my PS4, I really hope they release digital download packs with the songs so I don't need to try and do disk migration on a PS3.

I bought into Rock Band last gen, buying just about everyone of their games. Their original pitch was to build a platform and they ended up going hard into the annual release/spin-offs, just like Activision. People blame Activision for running the genre into the ground, but Harmonix was equally responsible in the plastic instrument arms race. Rock Band 4 was a pass for me.
