This is amazing! I'm gonna go try Brad's assignment now! I think I can do it pretty easily by dosing the drink and shooting him while he's puking. Maybe I'll use the fireworks to lure the second target near the balcony and killing her and climbing away after.

Edit: Did Brad's successfully! Got the dude into the bathroom and shot him point blank, stowed the body. Choked out the bodyguard when he came in for his costume. Also got his phone that way, and realized I could use it to get Dalia downstairs. Grabbed a saber off the wall, nearly got caught doing so (whoops) and went to the saferoom. Once there I choked the guard there out, and switched to his outfit so to be a security guard instead of a bodyguard. I then made the call. I ended up pushing the guy off the ledge so they did find him, but I wanted to make sure Dalia didn't see the unconscious guard and run away. She got to the room and, while alone, I threw a sword into her head and ran off to the exit by foot. So good!

Edit: Now also did Vinny's one.

They really talked themselves into thinking the guns are so hard to use when they could have saved them so much trouble so many times!

Oh man, Vinny was so close, a guard was checking out the radio in the bathroom, I guess they didn't notice it. Could have kill them one by one.

Both Vinny's and Jeff's contracts have been recreated in the PC version of HITMAN, in case anyone wants to give it a shot. Searching for the terms 'hitsmas' or 'giant bomb' should do it. Good luck!

Comparing Vinny's run to The Shining was spot-on. The longer it went on, the more it resembled a serial killer let loose at a fashion show. That surprise axe murder was like something from Friday The 13th.

It is ridiculous how completely unaware and unconcerned Dan is of everything that happens around him in this game. Vinny's run was amazing and his fatal slip up was dropping the fireaxe before engaging those last 2 guards. Pretty awesome run though. Jeff is just a beginner at this game, so while he doesn't have strategy nailed down he's actually quite good at recognizing what's going on around him. He's pretty much the opposite of Dan.

And all of them need to pay more attention to the minimap. It tells you who is around, who is suspicious, lets you know if you're tresspassing, what your status is. The minimap conveys so much information at a glance, it's an incredible tool.

They basically played Contracts mode without playing Contracts mode. The local nature and homebrew version of it probably made it a lot more fun to watch too which is great.

I lost count of the number of times I yelled to look at the actual map instead of trying to pan the camera around to find the red silhouette.

Edit: how weird did all those empty spaces look? I've seen a ton of Hitman but I've never seen entire spaces emptied out.

@advocatefish: I nominate Dan for that honor. Compare them side by side if you really care. They did enough contracts this year to make a comparison. They both would be better if they knew the maps better. They both would be better if they stayed away from proximity mines which are not the best choice.

I don't think I can watch anyone play Hitman but Vinny now.

Dudes Vinny's run was...like supernatural next level stuff. Mere mortals should not be able to pull that stuff off. He GODDAMN pulled a dude through a fricking wall.

Really like this format. You guys should try it with other maps.

I literally have no idea what the intros to these videos are supposed to be achieving but the rest has been fantastic and we're only on day 1.

It took me a bit to figure this out, but what's extremely useful on Paris and Marrakesh maps, is that unless an NPC has a white outline in Hitman vision, they don't give a shit what you do. You can do bad shit in the big crowds and they'll just run away and not actually compromise you or anything. That's why those people didn't care that Vinny destroyed that guy in the main room when coming out of the stairwell.
