I miss Austin with the East crew.

Still my favorite thing about Rocket League is the way a bunch of the cars look like the Tamiya 1/32 scale electric cars I played with as a kid...I mean the gameplay is great too but nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

As someone who plays RL ranked on a daily basis (it has kinda become my Dota), I find this amusing.

They should do more RL stuff on the site. It's really a good ass game that takes months and months to really get consistent and good with all the shots, dribbling, aeriels, wall shots etc. There's a lot to it.

Good to see Dan start to hit some relatively consistent aerials. In a soulsian way of speaking, the real game starts there. Although, I feel Jeff's pained expressions whenever Dan comes in and hits the ball unnecessarily when someone else has a better angle on it.

@tr0n: As someone who used to play on a daily basis like you do (A friend and I made it quite high in the doubles rankings) I totally agree about the depth to the game once you play more and more. However, I just don't see the more competitive side of rl being the bomber's thing for some reason.

GB East totally had this game up until Dan Ryckert fiddled with the connection. East went from a ping around 4-8 and ended up with like a 78 ping and West still had a perfect ping after the server "accident".

Follow the money.

I used to play it daily but I had nobody to play it with me anymore and playing with randoms on long stretches is somewhat mind crushing.
