Hm, I can't stand "REACT" videos but should I make an exception just this once? It doesn't appear to be a parody...

I love react videos, I just can't stand 99% of the people who post them. But, as with all things online, Giant Bomb IS the 1%.

The Millennial bit has been driven into the ground already. This hour should have been given to Hitmas.

That long edited sequence with the sped up crowds and slow motion cuts of dancing women is so weird.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this type of content, like Game Tapes, is much more interesting when you have people who have been working back then, like Jeff, who can give more details and context into what we're watching. I mean, I don't mind seeing what the newer hires think of the old Gamespot, but I think it doesn't work as well. This should've been with Jeff, Brad, Vinny, and Alex, like they did in 2016. Or, at least, they should have both videos: one with the newer members and one with the older ones.

Also, the millennial bit stopped being funny a long time ago...

@johnymyko: They (Alex Jeff Brad) already looked at this video with Rich for the Holiday Stuff in 2016. This was fun!

@jubs: I think they fixed it now but when they first uploaded the Day 3 GOTY video there was a part of the break that wasn’t cut where they were discussing when to upload the Smash and Hitmas videos.

This is insulting and not funny. Also, Why isn’t Dan in this too. He’s a prototypical millennial. He’s refusing to play fair!

I don't understand the hate for this or the clamoring for a version of this that already exists on the site. The millennial jokes aren't that overt and it's all just to be goofy anyway.

It's nice to see a sort of curious, irreverent look at these videos. I'd love more content like this.
