Jan, the Nintendo switch game you mentioned is exactly what you are looking for. No gotcha mechanics at all. You own the game? You got all the card, you just have to play in game to unlock in game packs. It’s actually kind of insane it exsists.

If you're looking for a new game jan you should try wrestling empire on switch. It's mdickies new game, wrestlers you might know but names you don't. It has a career mode where you can die. Alex talked about looking at it, but nothing came of it.
