I played THPS2 on Dreamcast, and either New York isn't in that version or it's completely forgettable, but it's interesting hearing the different soundtrack, at least four of those tracks aren't in the DC version.

Man...seeing someone not manual after almost every trick literally drives me insane when it comes to THPS 2 and 3. =/ lol I am loving this series though, it's feeding my nostalgia.

*EDIT* Nevermind, Jeff got there. He never disappoints lol.

What if Tony Hawk contacted EA and said "Hey look, you guys made these great skating games at Black Box. I want you to make another one, i will allow you to license my name and make it "Tony Hawk's Skate" without changing the game play at all". I think it would help the brand get even more traction and it would be a great reintroduction to the series.

Edit: Actually Jeff's idea of "Skate 4 ft. Tony Hawk" is perfect.

I can't lie, I was indulging in some of that goodgood green love in neighborly support of Canada's newfound freedom while watching this, so when Brad called out my dumb Sean Bean joke, I'm pretty sure I nearly fell out of my chair, haha. Like "Oh, right, this is live and they're reading chat!"

Then I absolutely died laughing when Jeff ragged on my name.

I love this series so much, hopefully it will become a weekly or at least bi-weekly thing.

The ending was also great (even though I never liked Mat Hoffman's), I'd love to see more THPS clone stuff.

I absolutely hate to be the one to ask this, but was it a bit or is the staff unaware of the horrible new meaning the internet has assigned to 'hot glue'?

Also, I don't remember, in any capacity, the "using cash to buy new tricks" mechanic in this game. Weird.

I just remembered this but I would rent either this one or the 3rd one and put cheat codes on for low gravity and play as spider-man and rack up insane scores. I would do this for like hours on end.

Sweet memories.

It's infuriating that so many people are unfamiliar with Web of Shadows, easily the best Spider-Man game prior to the PS4 game.

Technical issues are barring me from watching Giant Bomb lately. Their player does not work well on an iPad Air and I still have ADSL in the house, so any video that's not on YouTube will be choppy for me.

Anyway, this is a great series.

The Orbach car is actually Brandon Bird's. He funded it through Kickstarter last year, I think? He's an old friend of mine from high school and it's kind of rad to hear him name-checked on Giant Bomb.

It’s good that they have Ben around since Brad and Jeff are so out of touch with any media not related to video games.

Henry Winkler finally winning an Emmy for his role on Barry was one of the nicer moments of the year so far.

Brad pronounces Abby's online user handle the same way I always do in my head (50:05).

Also, I was super disappointed that they didn't let the game's intro play before they started. I can't hear Guerrilla Radio without thinking about that montage.

Flip side to the snow fascination in places that don't get it is any part of Canada with the refusal to acknowledge that large amount of snow causes difficulties. 18" of snow falls over night? Screw you the schools are still open and your boss WILL be grumpy if you show up late that morning.
