Party of One: Let's Live, Die, And Repeat With Some Roguelike Games

A roguelike stream with @rorie just wouldn't feel complete without some Spelunky.

Also, dear god I didn't realize he had been infected by Will's pronunciation of "executable."

Good stream! Gunfire Reborn's all right. Kinda wish the unlocks came a little faster, but I'm pretty terrible at it so it might just be me.

Some other recent-ish rogue-lites worth checking out are Neon Abyss (platform shooter, neon aesthetic, really neat boss designs) and Nova Drift (top-down wave based space shooter with fast-unlocking run-based abilities). Nova Drift takes some real getting used to as far as the controls, but it's a neat idea.

Spelunky 2 seems harder than the first since we knew that one front to back. It took awhile to get used to 2, but now I feel like they're sort of equal in terms of difficulty. All a matter of getting as familiar with it as the original.

And honestly, I kinda prefer 2 now.
