Quick Look: Lost Ark

Maybe these “Clipped from UPF” videos could have their own category to spare us even the initial click.

I miss when they made actual quick looks, rather than reusing content they already made. Plus, it was “premium content”.

So why bother subscribing?

Again with the ripping from UPF for a Quick Look.

My main problem is in a usual Quick Look they concentrate mostly about the game. Whereas in UPF it gets talked about for a bit, then they just start shooting the shit while the game is played in the background.

Please refrain from double dipping that chip. :-(

This game's more like an actual MMO than a diablo/path of exile joint. And like most mmos it really spoonfeeds you early on. The actual multiplayer dungeons start getting pretty fun in the second region though.

Agreed with the general sentiment here that using UPF segments as Quick Looks devalues the Quick Look format. I love Quick Looks as videos concentrating on the game at hand: how it plays, works, feels etc. I use them to make calls on the games I want to play. I feel UPF is less about the games and more about the hang. In my mind they are two very different things. Seeing this as a Quick Look was disapointing.

This serves no value as a Quick Look, I started watching because I was interested in the game, but nobody is talking about it, because it's UPF. Please, either leave these in UPF or do dedicated quicklooks. This is just plain lazy.

Is this really the quality of content that giantbomb wants to represent? I'm a long time fan but I can not defend being a premium user anymore with the questionable stuff coming out lately. I expect more from you guys.

Bait and Switch Look.

So low effort wtf I saw this on upf.

I wonder how bad Red Ventures is fucking them over if they have to resort to this to publish enough content. I sympathize with them that with their lower number of dedicated staff this is a necessity, but I really wish theyd just have the employees and numbers to make it happen. I won't jump to conclusions and call it low effort. Maybe worst I'll say is it's a failed experiment.
