Yeah I understand them freaking out a bit over the singshot. I wouldn't have liked that being pointed at me either, especially with the expensive equipment.

I get that Dan wasn't actually going to fire, but fingers slip and accidents happen.

Love the crew though and Dan did seem genuinely apologetic.

Exciting mailbag! I enjoyed Dans character arc.

Abby had to go into 'Mom mode' to get Dan to understand the actual danger of the slingshot.

I get why they're concerned. It's like pointing around a BB gun [or a real gun for that matter], accidents happen. Weapons misfire. Even if I trust the person holding it, it is an unnecessary risk to point them around in a small room full of people and expensive screens.

That said, those slingshots are dope. Hunt responsibly! :)

I had a slingshot (randomly) snap once, and one of the bands whipped/sliced a pretty gnarly gash right next to my eye which required stitches- so I think all were in the right to be concerned being on the other end of dan with a slingshot, who obviously does not know that slingshots are for realsies. Those things pack a punch, I once had to apologize to a neighbor five houses over for putting a hole through their rooftop satellite dish, but I even knew then like, this ain't a nerf gun. I feel like child safety rules should still apply to Dan, like 'honey, we know you're excited, but let's be safe okay?' especially after trying right off the bat to tear open an ez-open plastic package. Or he'd be that kid who would want to open your presents at a birthday party and or open the toys and immediately play with them, eventually leading to a broken something or someone, hahaha.

I love ya Dan, but I am glad there is an internet between us for safety some times. Even I got a little nervous when that slingshot aimed at the camera. Maybe as a general rule of mailbag, don't send functional weaponry in? Or...

@processr: A series I have very much enjoyed what I've seen but for some mysterious reason never gotten all the way through (though close). Probably indicative of ADHD or something else psychologically wrong with me, meh.

Really funny mailbag, but yeah, I tensed up pretty hard when Dan started playing with that slingshot (even knowing that this wouldn't have been uploaded if anything happened). Those things are always way more dangerous than they look.

Still, I lost it at Dan peeking his head up from an anime towel after being shamed to the ground, saying "We're all adults here". I think that entire image sums up Giant Bomb to a tee.

Given Dan nearly burnt down his apartment this week because he didn't know how candles worked, I think their reaction to Dan handling a pretty serious looking sling shot was pretty warranted.
