Thank you for finally bringing Mario Party to Giantbomb, Dan. They got away without a proper match for waaay too long.

I hope the crew isn't soured on doing the second game anytime soon, the first game is cruel and unusual punishment in a number of ways.

I genuinely thought they's pass out of boredom / lack of interest / sheer contempt for this hellspawn of a "game"...

Things considered, this was a fantastic show, for all the most horrifying reasons.

Great feature

This makes me want to watch Giant Bomb play Fortune Street again.

I feel that the whole point of this was entertainment. Jeff is playing up his hate role because he is fucking great at it. There were plenty of laughs shared between the guys during the show so they were obviously not incredibly bored or upset as you seem to think. The bit is "omg we are playing this dumb video game" and it works great. I know Jeff has strong and differing opinions on stuff, but you almost make it seem like Jeff literally hates his friend Dan, the guy he just hired. It is a show, and you seem to see half of that. Have a little more faith in the duders.

this is the only Mario party game I've ever played, pretty much skipped every Mario party game that came out since. I remember very little of it except it started to blister the palm of my hand.

This was great for a one time thing, but I hope this feature was just that. We got all the funny moments we're gonna get out of it, but these games are just not good enough to warrant multiple "episodes," going through of all of the MP games. The only person genuinely having a good time was Dan, and I just think there are better couch multiplayer games they could take advantage of that are legitimately fun. Sorry Dan.

@fonzinator: oh no, I know its all for the laughs... I've just got a dark sense of humor. It is excruciating, but fun.

I did think the laughs wore slightly thin for a while there.. but particularly the ending was kinda spectacular. Personally though, I don't know if I could play this game for so long maintaining my sanity... much less with Rycket.

Thats why I said it was fantastic for horrifying reasons.

This stream is funny because I totally understand Jeff's pain.

Mario Party is not a friendly game.
