Hey @danryckert and @drewbert, I think hitting one of the directions on the d-pad also lowers your gun while you're aiming. I think you have to press "down", but I'm not entirely sure.

I love Drew trying to grapple with the controls while Dan keeps diverting his attention to stupid little details in the environments haha it's great.

Edit: So I just played this game for the first time on PS3(HD Collection) and I don't remember the R2 having to be that quick of a press to unequip. Maybe the controller is funky?

This is seriously my favorite series on Giant Bomb.

DREW! You should totally not always go into first person while shooting dudes around the corner. If you don't, you can just shoot them, automatically pop back around the corner, and just wait to let the tranquilizer do its work. You are making it way too hard!

Oh, yeah. When you're bleeding, don't use a bandage. Just crouch until your life comes back and is blue again, then use a ration.

Yo @drewbert or @danryckert if Snake's health is orange (AKA bleeding) you can crouch (be sure to not move) and regenerate his health until it turns blue (AKA not bleeding). Saves bandages and rations.

Also, playing this with the old dualshock 2 seems a lot easier than using the dualshock 3 although going back and playing mgs2 in 4:3 isn't ideal either

@danryckert: If Drew is aiming with his gun - he can lower it with no problems with pushing down the R3 analog stick. It's better because you won't accidently misfire.
