As someone who only played Sons of Liberty (to completion), I anticipate this video series to be more and more enjoyable as it goes on.

Kinda wish they hadn't told Drew about the ThermGs. I thought the whole point was that Drew was playing through it as if he had never played it before.

I don't know about anybody else, but I certainly missed those the first time through.

I really hope Drew gets over shaking down every single guard, or he's gonna add like 3 hours to this already long game.

Wow, Drew's Otacon impression totally fooled me. I had no idea that didn't come from the game until Dan said something.

Been looking forward to this episode. The bonkers end of the first act, and then the "Big Reveal". Also @dezinus I'm all for shaking the guards down. I held up everyone I could and shook everyone down the first time I played this, it's not a race after all so if it takes a bit longer that's fine by me.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen that floor tunnel thing. I can't remember ever using that.

Yeah, I feel like Dan needs to reign it in slightly with the gameplay hints. Also i'm not a fan of how much he emphasised The Patriots in their chat. I know he wants to keep Drew from getting lost but that's the kind of thing that needs to blindside him as they go forward.

Not complaining though, I stayed up all and into the morning to watch this and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Best GB content going.

Oh MGS2 I love you so much.

You totally could start the game without playing the tanker. The original game had some weird options when you started the game like "I've never played MGS, but I like a challenge!". I picked one that skipped the tanker, which weirded me out even more when I tried to play the game, not knowing a thing about MGS.

The start really showed Drews biggest weakness in these game, pace and use of map. He still needs to get more comfortable and willing to plow on instead of standing around so much. In mgs1 he kept loosing perfect opportunities to advance past guards ect, he never trusts view-cone:P

I know it has allot to do with him not playing these kind of games, and I know I wasn't amazing at them myself when I first started, but he should really take more chances, or later games will take aaaaaaages.

Enjoying every min though, the frustration is a part of that, haha.
