@slaegar: The game doesn't think that taking apart a gun destroys it, it just doesn't have Snake find the pieces of his gun in a dark wet jungle.

I accidentally googled the location of MGS 3 (Tselinoyarsk for those who are curious).

I knew it would only get worse but I couldn't bring myself to explore it further.

Wasn't sure of MGS3 at first but I think it's warming to me. I'm enjoying the Cold War setting and the gameplay is certainly better than the former games.

Omg great stuff so far!!!! Just started and Dan and Drew are great!

Holy shit. I never played MGS untill i played ground zeroes and phantom pain (and thought they were some of the greatest games i've played in my entire life), i'm loving this, where the hell did all the humor go?! This isnt serious at all unlike mgs 5

I forgot how funny this was. Shame that in MGS5, snake says like 3 things the entire game.

5 was disappointing from a narrative perspective. The characters didn't really do much or have many conversations. If you wanted to know the story you had to dig through the tapes, and Big Boss' Phantom had no charisma or charm to him. Gameplay and world were great, they could of used more bosses.

Just when you think Metal Gear changed it's tune on how it portrays it's female characters with the introduction of The Boss...R1 to stare at Eva's chest happens.

Not a SR-71 in the beginning of the video, that was the early prototype YF-12 or the early production A-12 that then became the SR platform and Dan was prob talking about Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere where you have to fly a future-y fictitious interceptor variant of the SR-71 Blackbird in a high altitude mission. Though I could be wrong on this as I believe there are many variants of this resonance aircraft.
