@xdeser2: I honestly think if there is a product that justifies that price, it’s this one. The various model planes are extremely detailed and authentic to a tee, and the airports are meticulously rendered. Not to mention that he swaths if land that is available to fly across.

The amount of workmanship that went into this “game” is honestly impressive and well worth the steep price.

Having said that, it another game pulled this out, then I would agree with your stance. Fuck that!

@xdeser2: Seeing how MFS gives you more content than what people have dropped thousands of dollars on for X-Plane 11 addons, I think it's very fairly priced.

Simulators are different than games when it comes to pricing and add-ons. It's typically a smaller player base, made up of diehard enthusiasts that are happy to pay for content that they think is worthwhile.

The fact that the base game comes with 20 aircrafts and 30 handcrafted airports along with the reaming 45,000 airports in this game is insane as is.

As a Aircraft Dispatcher and Pilot this hurts my soul but I hope Vinny keeps learning about Aviation! Can't wait to play this!

Man, I am glad I have Game Pass Ultimate to try this out and gauge if I want to dive in deeper. My CPU is probably 3 years old and a 970 card. Plus no clue if the 2000's era USB Saitek stick & throttle pair I got way back for robot stuff that I never actually hooked up to a PC.

I got a pop up that said my computer did not meet minimum requirements. (This is the laptop I'm using)

However I was able to get it up to high settings! But those load times are something else for me.

As Austin warned, "Don't dox yourself online playing this!"

@timeshero: Load times are pretty long even on high-end machines.

Drew!!!!!! I honestly was waiting for this and Drew being on it makes it so great.

The review on IGN said that once you are in the game the load times aren't bad, if there at all. As others have said, the load times getting into the game are pretty bad(no matter what kind of machine you have).

EDIT: I also want to try this out when it comes to console.

The realism in games like this for simulating real life makes the question of if were really just all in a advanced simulation so much more believable. Once our pc elites max settings all sorts of glitches will occur...or did they already....dum dum duuuummm

This is comparable to other simulators and an okay deal for what it is. Other simulators like DCS, Flight-X, and Train Simulator have thousands of dollars of DLC. People pay $80 for a jet in DCS because it is a high-fidelity simulation of a jet, not just some video game approximation.

What an amazing achievement in gaming. I flew from my home airport to Telluride over the Rockies at dawn with an Xbox controller and it was just gorgeous. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one.

Great quick look!! Sad we didn't get to see any night flying. But there is just way too much in this game to show off, so I get it.

@vinny there's some mild audio sync issues with Drew's mic, like his audio might be slightly behind yours - most noticeable at the very end.

So great to hear Drew again! I thought they should ask Drew in as a special guest, and looky-looky they did it!!
