@amorphis_1: I never played Diablo, did he cap the end of the first crawl? I know that he makes another appearance in the first pits of Diablo III as well as Heroes of the Storm. Does the outline for a miniboss also include that they permeate the franchise history?

In the same vein as Protoman, I think Vile from Mega Man X should at least make this list--the ranking is a different conversation. Vile encapsulates the challenges you will face over the game (as well as how powerful Zero is as your Maverick Hunter superior), gives you a sweet mech preview, and builds some tension as X is helpless in this initial confrontation. So the next time you face him, you can definitely trash him with the secret Hadouken and you feel mega-upgraded as a player character.

The thumbnail for this says its an hour long but now that I'm playing the podcast, the player says its only 48 minutes. Weird.

I watched the wicked weasel and i don't care how many buttons you need to press to jump, that seems like a very run of the mill boss to me. He doesn't even mix up his attacks, or has a huge healthbar. This list is a sham! Good day, sir.

The reason why ben is confused is that in the let’s go remake they split gary and blue/red into two separate characters

Ben really needs to stop digging in when he is mistaken. Blue/Green has always been the character Gary was based on, eventually they seemed to decide on him being "Green" and they just called the Female Protagonist "Blue" With the male protagonist being our hero "Red".

If he's talking about "Let's Go" did he assume those were the exact same as the old games, if so why?

There's nothing wrong with being unsure.

It's just... don't dig in, it never ends well, especially with the attempt at recovery at the end.

You don't have to shoot the bridge dragon's nearly that many times to get the sword, I think it takes like 20 to 30 shots.

I'm not gonna sit here and say this Kahn guy from Breath of Fire IV is the best miniboss out there, but people should know about him at least.

He's a bumbling fool that keeps crossing paths with you, says GACK all the time and has a hard time keeping all his teeth together. At this point he's such a joke that a character just shoots him in a cutscene to prove her strength without a real battle occuring.

You guys left out what's easily the best Miniboss of all-time: Big Daddies
