Every day in high school math class, the teacher would play Bjork music. Bjork is forever ingrained in my head as the music of being miserable and frustrated at math.
I remember not liking Bjork in the 90's. After all the talk on the latest Vlog I went and looked up some of the songs that were mentioned and I still find her to be bad.
That's just my opinion though and if Abby likes her then good for her. You have the right to like whatever you want to like and I'm glad you have found something that clearly makes you happy.
have you ever listened to a Swedish band called The Knife? I love them. I see people mention Bjork as being similar/an influence on them. Check out their album Silent Shout if you haven’t; it’s a dang masterpiece.
There's a lot of Bjork stuff out there that doesn't follow the traditional idea of what a 'fun, enjoyable hummable' song sounds like, and ends up being quite an acquired taste. But there is a lot of accessible stuff out there as well. For people wanting to dip their toes into the water i suggest Unravel, Stonemilker, I've Seen It All (ft. Thom Yorke) , Hyperballad, Bachelorette & Cosmogony.

As someone who lives in LA, the worst LA is downtown LA. I wish the bombaderes were able to break free of the downtown area and come out to the westside, its 20 degrees cooler and just a way better vibe overall. If my only interaction with LA was DTLA id hate it too.
