I think the killer whale name comes from how savagely orcas go after seals/otters. I vaguely remember this from a docu, so there's a possibility they were full of it and maybe people at one point thought orcas ate people or something. I dunno.

Also even though I have zero interest in nancy drew, I would posit that Abby would be a good casting choice for the role, as I'm noticing some word choice and inflections are similar? I dunno, it would be more believable than the 40 year old who plays a teenager in these haha

I'm an IT guy and our company just bought a whole bunch of overpriced Jabra headsets - when I turned one on for the first time I could swear the voice is Nancy Drew's voice actor from these games. When I told a coworker this he of course had no fucking clue what I was talking about. I don't know what I expected.

Also, looking up this game on Wikipedia and discovering the Nancy Drew series of games showed me just how many of these they made. They really cranked em out. Basically one a year since 2000. Sometimes 2 or more a year!

I need to go back and watch the rest of these that I missed. I've only seen a few of them played here but this is really fun video.

Has anyone from East ever played or talked about The Longest Journey? I would love to see you guys play that one day. Probably one of the most revered adventure games of all time, but also nearly impossible without a walk through - like there is no logic to some of the solutions.

I remember they played Dreamfall Chapters on a quick look and it was one of the funniest interactions I ever saw in a game. It made me get the game even, I just can't remember if anyone had played the original.

Citizen Kane is a good film.

These Nancy Drew games have been so relaxing to watch! I'm so glad it's being made into a full on feature. I think it's great having just Vinny or just Alex on so the boys don't go on some wrestling tangent for an hour and a half and ignore the ~mystery~.

Maybe the Clue Crew could tackle something like The Last Express? That's a really well regarded cult classic one of these.
