Nite One at E3 2018: Chris Charla, Dan Greenawalt, and More!

This is only my second year watching these e3 talks, but I've got to say, in my opinion, Jeff is really good at this. Watching him trying to communicate his issues with Sea of Thieves illustrates how much you have to walk on egg shells in this industry. I don't think he could afford to be more direct or critical there, otherwise these guests simply won't return.

It seems incredibly hard in this industry to ask the difficult questions and not risk losing access. Although I have to say I don't watch a lot of these types of interviews, so I might be wrong. But it often seems like the movie industry, where you can only be critical when the people involved are not around and as soon as they show up, it's all sunshine and rainbows.

Jeff's easily my favourite interviewer in this industry, let's his guests say what they came to and probes for more while keeping a casual atmosphere.

I imagine it's hard bringing up the problems in some games with someone that's put so much time into it but he handles it with grace and humour. The highlight of every E3 for me.

I keep buying racing games and not playing them - or just playing them long enough that I run into the same tracks / areas. That seasons stuff sounds good.

@loafofgame:Yeah, Jeff asked a few questions which were borderline savage in the softest possible way. He got PR couched non answers and fluff but Jeff has some balls asking the pointed questions.

@someoneproud: I'm glad Jeff hosts these because he's got the clout and confidence to ask hard questions, but when it comes to straight interviews, he's second only to Brad. it's a shame that there aren't more interview videos, because Brad has an incredible way of making PR people relax, and he's like an endless barrel of questions.
