They're actually really good.

I think any kind of these toy fads are only really cool, if you get the feel that they could be applied as weapons. There was definitely a trend of YouTubers trying to make videos where they knock out their teeth and shred up their face with fidget spinners (all fake), which is why they are so lame by comparison. Fun toys like YoYo, Butterfly Knives, Nunchucks and Devil Sticks are cool, because you can bring harm onto others with them.
