Where's the beef? the Chief Beef?

I see actual "Quick" looks lately. #NotMyQuickLooks

Audio quality sounds a bit blown out/breathy in this video, not sure why.

Definitely a lack of Chief Beef Belief here.

Were they trying to cram QL's for the December games they missed before going on the holiday break?

QLs continue to beg for a re-think.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this game.

Something about this really made me want to get back into a park sim. Might have to pick this up.

It seems like it. I've heard that there are better staff management, but most of the game seems to be exactly like Rollercoaster Tycoon with better graphics. Which is fine, since Rollercoaster Tycoon is a great game.

1 Seems like a cool game.

2 When you place buildings nearby trees shake like they were dropped from freaking space.

3 It’s pleasing when Alex uses the word “rollycoasters”.

I'm not seeing much innovation in this game beyond a few small tweaks to the formula which is kinda disappointing. It seems like Planet Coaster is still the way to go, plus the steam workshop support is huge.

Am I the only one who loved hearing Abby refer to them as crappers?

I liked this Quick Look. I know it's short, but honestly, how much more do I need to see here? I don't wanna watch her build a whole park. She shows the purpose, the tools, and the overall style(s) available, and has a lot of enthusiasm for what is here. $30 gone from my wallet!

this looks so identical to RCT, i loved those games, but do they not work on new machines?

I love these kinds of games. Lost a lot of hours on roller coaster tycoon.

This looks like a direct copy of rollercoaster tycoon only with upgraded graphics......I love it!

Planet coaster looks cool but I have read that that game is very good if you want to make a big park, but if you want to hop from scenario to scenario in a campaign it is actually not great and the park management stuff in the game is lacking.

@xeiphyer: Planet Coaster did not do much for me, I'm not a fan of games that start with challenge maps in which you're scrapped for cash and you have to stare at your screen while you wait for your cash to slowly go up.

@roytheone: problem i've always had in a lot of newer games, is they focus on being too "big" like you get this hyper involved system that lets you ride your crazy coasters in full 3D view, but I would rather just have a management sim like RCT was.

I've been enjoying this quite a bit - as others have observed it's RCT with knobs on, but it does what it sets out to really well. The workshop support for rollercoasters is great if you don't want to spend a lot of time faffing around building your own, but the tools are easy enough to use that I had a lot of fun making themed go-kart tracks.

What a pleasant little QL this was.

I love this kind of game but I am honestly amazed at how much of Roller Coaster Tycoon they pulled, even the queue lines and food stands just look like updated assets.

@xeiphyer: I have to agree. Maybe the required specs for this are lower but other than that I can’t think of a reason to prefer it over Planet Coaster (especially when it is currently on sale rediculously cheap).

I remember this game on MATN. Does it do anything better than Planet Coaster?

Great Quick Look! I watched this mainly due to the short length. Abby showed off the game very well in a short amount of time. We need more QLs like this...actually quick, and shown by someone that actually has a grasp of the game so our time isn’t wasted for an hour as they try to figure it out as they play it.

I'm amazed that the words rollercoaster tycoon were not mentioned at all given that this is pretty much the exact same game as far as i see.

I do worry about it's tone though. Rollercoaster tycoon always had that sadistic quality to it that games like the sims can have as well. You get to mess with the days of your customers. You get to make them barf all over the place. You get them to pay crazy prices for toiletbreaks & you get to murder them with a rollercoaster of death. I wonder how much of that 'charm' is in here, because it looks very sterile & clean so far.

Can you reproduce Mr. Bone's Wild Ride in this game?
