Quick Look: Pentiment

ffff this looks so good!! I could only watch the first few minutes of the stream before I clicked away so I can experience everything fresh on its release tomorrow.

I know Microsoft doesn't have a lot of big budget games this year, but maybe that will give this room to shine. Looks really great.

The amount of dialogue and twisting or turns here is quite incredible, absolutely need to check this out.

@janman Dowloaded the HD version of the video and it was suspiciously small (660MB), so I checked the details and the bitrate is listed at ~2000kbps.

Other than that the video seems fine, so no need to rush with the fix I guess.

Wow, 15 hours as the time to beat is much longer than I would have expected, especially for a game with many branching dialogue decisions. Pretty stoked to check this out (when / if I have time to do so).

This seems like an excellent Steam Deck game. Hopefully it runs on that platform. I'd love to play it there once I finish my playthrough of Ruined King!

so I'm right at the point where Grubb is in the Quick Look and almost everything is different, I've got way more evidence, etc. This game screams multiple playthroughs and its awesome. I don't think Ive ever played something quiet like this. The story is intriguing and dark, the dialogue is great, the pacing perfect for me.

my voice is damaged now because I streamed about 6 hrs today and read all of it aloud but man was it worth it :D

@deepressed: I started streaming this out to friends on discord last night, while also reading it aloud/doing voices for certain characters that I felt were worthy of voices. We played for 4 hours and my voice is so fucking sore this morning.
