It really has been kind of nuts lately. Feels like the most disruptive couple of months since AEW first hit the scene.

Man, i love pro wrestling

I haven't been watching any wrestling since the beginning of the year and that's been awesome (because of how much of a time sink it became) but all of the shit going on in WWE behind the scenes makes me want to start up again. Well, sort of. I think that I get most of what I want/need by just reading about it and hearing people's opinions.

I haven't watched any wrestling in a good 9 months or so, but I gotta say, a Vinceless WWE makes me want to take a look again.

That, and I saw Seth Rollins come out at Summerslam in a lovely orange blouse to curb stomp Matt Riddle, which was fun.

I randomly watched Summerslam, this was a perfect accompaniment!

On who will beat Reigns, there is going to be close to 80,000 UK fans in the Principality Stadium in a months time. It'll be the first stadium show in the UK since Summerslam 92. I think they would be insane to not have Drew walk out as champion. Even if it's only for a month and he drops it back to Reigns so he can wrestle the Rock at Mania.

I did enjoy some of the extra details on how some of the "ok, lets do this spot" sort of info is conveyed. Growing up I knew it was "fake" but still admired the performances as "stun man improv" to be able to string together various visually spectacular move and execute them with relative safety. It was a bonus that this was the mid-90's and the WCW Cruiserweight division was big.

Also I was just watching "Enter The Dragon" and there is a part at the very beginning where he's being quizzed by a temple monk and says "a fight should be like a small play". Very apt for good in ring performances.
