When codemasters used to develop these games they were pretty good. But this just looks awful. Completely broken.

I knew from the moment I saw this yesterday in the Coming Soon box that I was going to love it, and then you guys bring in a ringer at the last minute anyway. Giant Bomb Sports Team 4 LIFE.

I've been loving the Gamespot video content since Danny arrived in the US recently.

But this is the real reason I was so hyped for his arrival. Giant Bomb x O'Dwyer 2014.

EDIT: Maaaan this is a terrible cricket game. Brian Lara Cricket is still the best version I've seen, although some around 2003-5 were alright too if I remember correctly. Cricket is still the most fun sport to explain to people though; this video is a perfect example of why.

Oh, and for reference: you can't be given out LBW if the ball bounces on the leg-side of the wicket (the half of the pitch, lengthwise, that the batsman is standing in). ALSO... they won't give an LBW out unless the bowling team appeal. Because... cricket rules are ridiculous. But making you press a button for that is kinda dumb.

This game really makes the game of cricket look so bad. It is actually a fun game to play. Like any other sport it has its peculiarities and nuances but overall it is quite good.

As an Australian who doesn't really like cricket but has somehow picked up a rough understanding of how it works; this is the funniest thing in the world. Even Danny has a very tentative grasp on the rules of the game.
