This game looks like a blast. I want a Wii U but I don't think I can justify the purchase.

I'm super jealous and wish I could play the game. Looks like pure character action ecstasy. I would pop in the original but I've already boxed and put away my 360.. life is so hard!

I have never understood the appeal of character action games, this looks about as interesting as Dynasty Warriors.

BUT I could at least appreciate the insane things happening on my screen as I watched this QL. Fun to watch!

@honkalot: The appeal of Bayonetta is at it's core no different than Dark Souls or the Arkham games. It's the combat mechanics that Platinum is known for. It's not something you'll get from watching videos, but something you need to experience for yourself.

Looks like a Rising ripoff! Anyways, I stick with the cool games like Aliens Riptide where the enemies actually have to make the player think. You don't see that in games these days. What does this game have? BUTTON MASHING?

I hate to ask this, very very much - because I'm *NOT* one of those people, I promise....

but is this running at only 720p on the Wii U? I'm watching on a 1080p monitor in HD and it looks, kinda blocky at points? Isn't the WiiU slightly more powerful than the 360 and PS3, plus it's an exclusive game, not a port?

I really don't need, demand, or fuss for 1080p, I'm so so over people insisting on that but you know? 840p? 900p? 920p? I dunno. As long as the textures, models, effects are good and the resolution isn't TOO bad, I don't care.

Long story short, this actually looks like it's only 720p at most in the video and it's a bit sad?

it's 720p......but honestly if the frame rate is fine i don't give a shit if its a good video game.

Well I guess whinging about it won't change anything, I also can't god-damned-fucking-stand, the crybabies at NeoGAF who utterly insist on 1080p for games, so ... you know, watching deeper into the QL I saw some solid massive characters, lots of polygons, effects and textures and yeah, still looks pretty swish. I'dve liked 800 to 900p but good graphics is more important than just resolution.
