I think this game should be the player controls the cat, to help guide the girl who lost her hat that flew away in the wind.

Naninights and now Nani the cat. Are English developers suddenly learning Japanese?

Just the surface concept of this game makes me sad.

Just beat the game and Alex is right, this game doesn't have much. Moving at a snail's pace was super irritating. Achievement hunters might enjoy how easy it is but it's definitely passable. Worth checking out when it's on sale. Disappointing.

I was going to mention the animated short "out of sight" but it looks like somebody's already put it in here.

It seems like the difference between whether reviewers love or hate games like this, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, Esther, and Gone Home is whether they personally know the developers. The games otherwise all sort of fall into the same range, otherwise.

@branthog:

I mean I love Gone Home and I have never met the developers.

"Walking simulators" are like any other genre in that there are both good and bad games in that genre.
