The proper Cabela hunting games are actually ok, I had quite a bit of fun with them yonks ago sneaking through the woods 360 no scoping the local fauna. This however is total garbage and should not exist.

The hunting game Ryan and Jeff played during that one Happy Hour a couple years back remains one of my favorite Giant Bomb moments. I had tears rolling down my face I was laughing so hard.

So bummed they didn't decide to release this the same day Halo 4 comes out.

That opening pic is terrifying.

This video makes me wonder, have any of the designers ever (1) handled a real gun, (2) actually been hunting, in their lives? This shit is absurd.

You guys should take a look at the game The Hunter, not this shite.

Man, this is painful to watch. I really, really wish Vinny fucking played an FPS on the Wii or the Move in the past six years or so. Or just had more practice with this Fearmaster Shotgun, or something.

Am I the only one who actually kind of liked the old Cabellas games like pre dangerous hunts stuff. It was like a stealth game. you had to stalk deer around the woods and shit. then sometimes a boar or something would try to kill you.

This game with zambies or playing as like a Rainbow Six guy popping terrorists would be the best thing ever. But regular-ass animals...

Even though the teen rating, it would have been great with this to have a crazy soap opera storyline beyond what's there now (ie. anything new you get in life gets killed by a bear, freaks out on anything bear related, goes around the world sneaking up on animals & putting a bear pelt on it then getting revenge).

This isn't a hunting game. This is redneck porn.

man, $80 and you don't even get a proper lightgun. Damn that's right just remembered light guns don't work with modern TVs. another tragedy of the 1frame+ of buffer lag in modern tech.

The hyenas were nice enough to wait for Vinny to reload instead of ripping his throat open as soon as they could. That's why I think hyenas get a bad rap. They really are the most gentlemanly creatures of the Serengeti. And that is why they have to die en masse.

This game would be so much cooler if everything you killed stayed on screen so at the end you would have these mountains of dead animals just piled up.

I really doubt any actual big game hunter would want a rhino trophy that has had like a thousand bullets put into it....

I played Dangerous Hunts a while ago. It was basically the No Russian level from Modern Warfare 2, but with animals.
