@danryckert Small correction : the joycons never use the IR for pointing/aiming. For aiming this is always the gyro, IR would require a wii sensor bar accessory also you would have to hold the right joycon backwards.

Time to add Toad's having skulls to the Mario Lore pile.

Toad skull is upsetting.

I think that I would pay $40 for this, looks like a lot of fun to me. I came very close to getting this when it originally came out on the Wii U, I won't be making that mistake again with this.

Also, the mushroom does NOT hide Toad's real face!

I am disturbed to find out that the mushroom is part of his skull rather than simply a neat hat. Was this already known and I was just blissfully unaware?

The Pixel Toad hunt stuff was in the original but you needed the Toad Amiibo to access it.

What happens to the cursor when in handheld mode?

Vinny referenced one of my favorite quick looks in this, the Wipeout for Wii quick look. Probably without realizing it.

even though this QL is very short, it's packed with hilarious moments. like when dan remembered he was married.

Beautiful moments of Vinny messing with the camera! I'd watch them do a full playthrough in 2P mode.

Will probably pick this up once I'm done with Octopath Traveler, I skipped it on the Wii U but it looks neat.

This game is fantastic, but I recommend playing it in handheld mode only. The lack of cursor is nice and it works much better with the touch screen. It's also the perfect portable game since levels are so short.

I played two-player with my six year old controlling the camera. Can confirm nightmare.

I just want the new content but I made the mistake of buying the Wii u version. Similar deal with MK8, at least there's multiplayer there.

Splatoon has nothing on Toad anatomy when it comes to weird Nintendo body horror.

I love Dan's enthusiasm for Toad.

Captain Toad is a different character than regular Toad.

The cursor on the screen absolutely ruins it for me.

Here's your new series - Vinny and Dan playing the whole game in co-op, Vinny on camera, Dan on "ah jeez" duty.

@oddballs: The game was originally released on the Wii U under the same name and already got a QL there, so they needed the distinction.

One of my favourite games, I've pretty much 100% (all diamonds, all bonus goals, all pixel toads) this game again during the week...well, I have a single bonus level left and I aint doing the time challenges.

I enjoyed this Quick Look far more than I should have, considering I have no interest in the actual game.
