I love that the loading screen says embiggening spiders. Embiggen that shit up game!

This game is excellent. Not super deep, but a really fun way to burn a few hours.

I hate to say it but it seems kind of like Farmville or Oregon trail but without timers, energy, bugging the shit out of people or micro-transactions, all the things that make Facebook games total crap. This looks like fun and most of all a "real" survival time management game.

Looks like good fun. Think I'm on board for this one now.

After seeing the new additions to the 360 version of minecraft (which puts in a lot of new things including hunger), this looks quite interesting to dive into but can't help but remind me a little of that. Liking how the research can be done in the game to help improve things & definitely adding it to the steam library once it's out & going to the gb page/forum for this to see what people discover.

edit-looking at the screenshots on steam & the game's website, the monsters out in the world & overall art style of this game I love so definitely sold on this game.

You can cook food indeed. Just put stuff in your campfire.

Having fun with the game, but definitely can't wait for what's to come, mostly the addition of a midgame and endgame. They have a good roadmap of what's coming up for Don't Starve in their forums. Also love how they have been great with communicating with the players & even hang out sometimes in streamers chats on Twitch.

This is tangential to the quicklook but I am really enjoying the new recent pairups. Patrick/VInny ordrew/Anyone besides Vinny or Dave is really different dynamic.

Yep, I bought the game after watching the quick look and cooking the monster meat doesn't rid it of the poison effect. That was a pretty short first run.

Huh, looks neat. It's cool that Klei keeps trying out different kinds of games, from Shank to Mark of the Ninja to this. And the art is always excellent in its own way, I really like the look of this game.
