Wow this looks awful. Graphics are mediocre (apart from loading art as usual), gameplay ridiculous (not to mention completely overlooking that a party of six has ten times the difficulty that this one dude is having, we'll just overlook that for now); it's linear, chock full of loot (granted, there are graphics for each thing) and there's no voice acting. But heck, what do I know?

Oh Giant Bomb  - Trophies have the exact same worth as Achievements - ZERO but you all fawn over Achievements as if they mean something. Well except Vinny who see them for what they are. Pointless - literally.

I just intalled Neverwinter Nights again because of this. You guys owe at least 100 hours of my life back!

I'm always amazed that they go for Warrior equivalent as the go-to class.  I always pick an Archer or Wizard type class (or their equivalents) for a first playthrough of whatever.

But... there's nothing in this that is very D&D like in rules at all, from what I can see. I think I'd rather just run my own 3.5 sessions some more.

Don't even get 'em started on the Steam ones.

Gotta say, I think gaming as a whole lost a lot when playing the games became nothing more than a pursuit of Pavlovian positive feedback to a good chunk of the player population.  And nothing really takes one out of being engrossed in a game than a "PING!" with some nonsense flashed on the screen.

Yes, Rorie's on this QL!  This is such a sick day.  Parents just left on vacation.  House to myself and I'm getting sauced while watching quick looks, all afternoon.  Then I'm going to order a pizza and get ripped.  Tonight I'm going out and celebrating with the boys.  All smiles.
