Expectations can't be false when you watch trailers that depict a story and NEVER show you any glimpse of the lame puzzle gameplay. If I advertised a game using cut scenes from Command & Conquer and then later reveal that the actual game you will play is Tetris, then one couldn't be blamed for one's disappointment.

This game is not meant to appeal to everyone. Atlus has made it clear that the target demographic for this game is not the same as for their Persona games or any of their other RPGs.

I'm interested in this game for just how weird everyone has been saying its going to be, but am sort of weirded out because I know this guy who had similar problems to the game's protagonist -- albeit with a Catharine and a Catherine.

I hear the resemblance to Teddy now. I thought it was Pharos at first.

This guest guy from Atlus is so damn cool - I hope he is on the Giantbombcast as a guest when Catherine comes out! Actually, I hope he joins the group at Giantbomb for a Catherine Endurance Run or perhaps a future Persona 5 Run!

@Catolf: I find it ridiculous that someone who ivoked "butt hurt" would somehow wish to portray someone else as childish. But I must agree with you: Mutha3 shouldn't tell people to "shut the fuck up" unless he's prepared to assume the consequences of his actions (you know, that thing the grown-ups do...).

And now this is probably the last we'll see of Catherine on Giant Bomb in any sort of video.

I read a great article on this in Games TM, got me a lot more interested in the game itself.

Had to mute to prevent the spoiler ruining my game experience.

With the Japanese saying this is too hard, I don't think I want
to play this & end up throwing my controller into the wall.  Sounds
seriously frustrating.

I'm looking forward to playing a game in which the main gameplay mechanic isn't shooting or stabbing dudes. . .

Even though I love shooting and stabbing dudes in games, I totally agree with you.

...I think the funniest part was him saying the mysterious voice sounded like Teddie, when it's actually Yosuke.  
 
But oh gosh, I wish I could play this game. Amazing voice cast, freaky plot... ahhh.
