Like others have said, that was a good mix of PR speak and fun banter. Obviously, the dudes gotta promote their game, but I don't think they were super in your face about it.
 
On the topic of the game, I really liked the first one, so I'm looking forward to this. It sounds like they fixed my two big issues from de Blob 1 - having to waggle to jump, and having to spend upwards of an hour on a level, trying to get 100%, looking for that very last item that I forgot to paint. It'll be cool seeing it in HD this time around as well!

Very enjoyable QLEX. I played the original PC indie game and the iPhone game but I never managed to get around to trying to Wii version. This looks pretty cool so maybe I wil pick it once it comes out or at least rent it.

Looks like a great break away from serious brooding characters and story. Sometimes some crazy shit with color is just what I need.

Nick and Neil seem like really cool guys, this is one of the funnier QLEX that I've seen with the banter between Ryan and Nick and that actually made me want to try this game out when it comes out.

Yeah, it went on too long. I wonder if part of it was that there was an agreement about how much time would be given.  Usually, the GB guys know that when they run out of things to say, it's time to end it.

First de-blob game is severely underappreciated, it was awesome and fun if a little short and repetitive.  Looking forward to picking this up.

This video was great. The satire all over it was hilarious. It's unfortunate so many commenters didn't get alot of it, and seem to think it was serious business.
 
Anyway, I never heard of this franchise before. Pretty neat looking.

I usually leave it a few days before i watch the EX quick looks but that's my loss.

Yes graffiti is/was used as a massive scapegoat a few years back. There was a huge public anti-graffiti campaign, blaming it for all sorts of business and everyone focused on it and made out as if we had some huge graffiti problem, when in reality graffiti is a really minor problem (atleast around where I live) and is barely noticable.  The were blaming it for massive government spending, saying tax payers are forking out millions of dollars in clean up, saying it was on the rise and corrupting the youth, putting them into dangerous situations with dangerous people, gang involvement, drug use... all the usual crap. 

Sure you may get on a train and someone has tagged the back of a seat, or maybe the window of a bus, but it's not nearly as bad as other areas of the world. Marc Ecko's got banned here because of it's graffiti themes, but from memory it came out around the time everyone was in full swing of the graffiti is the devil scare-mongering. I'm not sure if it would have been banned if it came out now as you don't hear about it at all anymore. Personally I think the OFLC bowed to public pressure and have now set a precident they have to uphold.

I'm getting the impression that this'll be just like the first game. Really cool and enjoyable for an hour, maybe two -- and then boring and monotonous as fuck.

I didn't pick up on him being a jerk. I have noticed whenever they have devs in the room there's less goofing around, which is probably just them being more professional.

This was better than most QLEX's, but did anyone else get the vibe that the dev was trying way too hard to be funny?  Some of the things he said were kinda witty, but most of the time he was just grasping at straws for something humorous in order to dodge a question.
