Pretty creative- though I get a very "Lightning plasmid + wrench" vibe, as in, if you can just set their health to zero, why would you do the other options?

@icemael: I'm inclined to agree with you, but remember that he said that the sword "broke" and there was a way to fight, or some sort of real combat. I'm not sure how much that can add but it's called Hack and Slash .

Well, it's Double Fine, so it's probably supposed to be Double Slash. Then it's just a comment.

So the game is really called Hack'n.

Hopefully the Hawken guys don't get upset, or they're tr*nched.

This game seems terrifying. Changing variables seems terrifying.

I really like the idea of this game, but I guess I'm on the outside, cause the art style is really turning my away. The mash-up of flash colorful sprites with giant pixely blue menus is very jarring. I've been a huge double fine fan, and I'll still play this day 1. Just wish it looked better to me.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed a QLEX. The devs just rush around showcasing the basic features of the game, might as well just watch a pre-cut PR video.

Every time I see a Double Fine game, I'm turned off by the art. This one looks like a Saturday morning cartoon, but one of the ones you didn't watch because they had a gross, sickly quality to them - the ginger stepchildren of Cartoon Network.

@zurv: Yeah, with you there. Press A, adjust menus, then run somewhere else and do that again. And again. And again. I don't really see the appeal of that loop.

I love the art style (reminds me of Dexter's lab), but don't see the appeal of that kind of gameplay, I don't think I'll be buying this outside of a steam game bundle.
