5 bucks on XBLA.  Hope I'm not getting a substandard version of the game.

You can get "Nexus - The Jupiter Incident" for less than this on Steam.  I don't want to bad mouth this game... but you should definitely get Nexus instead.

Any game with Chopin in it is a winner in my books; it also doesn't hurt that this looks kind of interesting.

If only it wasnt that shitty brown colour in space i would probably buy this.

GB late to the party on indie games again. I reviewed this for Gameandplayer.net two months ago. Not the best Quick Look either thanks to that glitch.

I'm downloading the demo. I may even buy it. Games like this that come out of nowhere is why I love PC gaming.

I love those crazy story beats.

Looks like a crazy little game there.

For all of you confused, I don't know if this will help but just know that there's nothing deeper than what you've seen.  You've seen almost everything the game has to offer.  You click on your ships, you give them very simple orders for a turn, then that turn takes 30 seconds to play out and you get to see a bunch of ships do some great space ballerina act with Chopin playing in the background.    When you're not in combat, you're going to various planets.  When you go to a planet, stuff happens.  That is all.  
 
This game is actually very simple, but there's a certain amount of charm in its simplicity.  There's no multiple save slots or reloading or anything like that.  You die and that's that.  It's kinda roguelike-ish, but in a Spelunky way (more names people wont know!  Check the GB Wiki!)  The game has you playing in short bursts, often playing multiple games within a play session.  It's really kind of a surreal experience, but one that takes little to no time to get used to.

Nobody else thought that maybe Dave contracted space madness from staring into the nebula, causing him to be crazy and fight against Mike? That's what it seems like to me.

It's possible to take out Beam Gunships with a lone Destroyer if you keep your distance! For larger battles, orientation is important, and using Manual Orientation is key to survival -- end your turn with your ship's forehead facing your enemies, rather than your rear or underbelly. 
 
Watching people play Flotilla who don't know about Manual Orientation makes me cringe. But, then, the tutorial never touches on it.

its been developed by a former pandemic employee. this guy was in invisible walls last week or the week before that. i dont remember exactly when.
