I was not complaining about the lack of any real astronautical engineering here. It's simply the lack of any kind of coherent or logical design at all. No (sane) person would ever design a spaceship as a random maze of rooms and hallways. It's just absurd and makes any suspension of disbelief impossible, at least for me. If this doesn't bother you then that's great, but I can't get past it.
