Now that Season 2 was announced I've made the decision to just call my Intro Pack purchase on PS4 a loss and get the entire season on PC when it goes on some kind of a sale. I want those fast load times.

Dan Ryckert can mistakenly call flour "sprinkly bread" in one quick look and drop a witty "The Tell Tale Heart" reference in another. I like that guy.

Heh. Weird. I have situs inversus and this probably the first time I've ever heard it in any other context than me explaining it to a doctor. Certainly not something that comes up a lot in video games.

Once Jeff sees the Kane and Lynch poster in Hitman, the game is automatically disqualified from being a Game of the Year.

Are the audio channels fucked? Can't hear audio coming from behind them.

Like are you guys purposefully not using the minimap to make a certain style of content? Every single Hitman video you guys have done...

@dezztroy: The game is weird with it's audio channels. The audio that isn't right in front of you is muffled.

I'm surprised that Dan liked the look of this hospital and would like to have a house with a similar design, I was expecting him to dislike it because it looked fancy. Good to see that New Dan definitely has better and broader tastes!

I really hope they turn on the Texan's TV. Cracked me up during my playthrough.

I like the fact that they acknowledge the part to hoe to open the doors yet proceed to wonder for 25 min on how to open the doors

I was able to climb up on the outside of the hospital into the service room and went from there. I was able to do the whole episode in like 25 minutes. I had to skip through them bumbling their way through the first hit. Hopefully the second one isn't an hour long.

This is torture.

It's so weird, must be something to do with the distance they sit from the TV or something. I know playing on camera makes things harder and I'd as sure as hell be affected by it but chirst they've played this game so much and still miss easy stuff.

People say Jeff would be really good at Hitman (and I have no doubt he would be) due to the few times it's been played on UPF and the stuff he's pointed out but that's only because he actually takes in what's on the screen. This Hitman isn't a hard game.

@picky_bugger: I think there's a lot to keep track of but I don't get it. Jeff would hate it, he hates stealth games and stuff like this. A game where you sometimes patiently wait for stuff to play out is not for him.

I enjoy these a lot, but yeah this one was a bit painful. Then again that's part of the charm almost, if I want to see pro hitman playing, there is plenty of that on youtube I'm sure. Looking forward to the next part.

@artisanbreads: Yeah, I'm not really saying that Jeff should play it one camera although he did recently say that he's going to play lots of it soon. It's more that he actually takes in what's on the screen.

Maybe the patience thing isn't what Jeff likes although I'd say that it's not really required for this Hitman game, you're never waiting around for long. He does however respond well to dumb shit and this game is full of that.

I was hoping Brad would learn from IO visiting. Sadly, he got worse.

Just an fyi, Canada is a sovereign country despite sharing a head of state with the other 15 Commonwealth realms (including the UK). This can be the case because the Queen is actually the holder of 16 different Crowns (as in the legal embodiment of the state, not the physical crown), and is thus Queen of Canada separately from being Queen of the other 15 realms. I know, it's a bit confusing.

Man this game looks so good. But I just don't have time for it. Ah well. Maybe someday.

I think this game has something for everyone. There are so many ways to play and so many costumes and fun things to do. The environment is usually gorgeous to walk around in. I like the YouTube video I saw where the players just wanted to stay in the room for a while.

Even people who play it a lot miss things. During Vinnys play of Sapienza last night on Extra Life (which I say watch and donate something! Vinnys fire extinguisher game is not to be missed. It's not too late to donate.) I mentioned the Nario and Luigi costumes and was surprised that a good bit of the chat had never heard of them. So there is a lot there

Also,the game will help you get through with he opurtunites until you can get a good feeling for it. I don't care about speed runs or leaderboards but I think I've managed to drop every possible hanging chandelier, light fixture and moose on someone. I think I've done every costume and walked around just to hear what people say. I've had so much fun with every aspect of the game.

They fucking missed the dialogue AND subtitles at the VERY beginning, seconds into the mission, telling them that patient robes carry a chip granting automatic access to their rooms. I'm impressed.

Also getting to the helicopter pad bridge twice, wondering and confirming that you could vault and possibly get over there, also noticing that none of the guards are looking their way and they are good to go - and then turning around and walking away.

At this point I'm almost sure they have to be doing this on purpose

It's weird because they got the concept right away and then forgot about it until 30 minutes in. They'll eventually complete the mission, but old habits die hard, I guess, even after the developers coached them last time.

I would have thought the more reasonable explanation here is that we were busy looking for the descrambler that would have let us bypass the outfit requirements entirely, considering that we, you know, wondered out loud repeatedly about where to find it, and that I also literally mentioned outfits are keycards early on. Don't let that stop you from raging at an internet video though I guess.
