Suddenly my Xbox One seems useful again!

It is pretty different, though I realize we didn't really go deep enough to demonstrate why.

I'm pretty much done with puzzle/platformers but this does look gorgeous.

It comes out on the 7th on steam i will have no problem waiting.

Did Brad or Dan play the Swapper? Because what they showed seems like pretty much the same mechanic as the Swapper, kinda surprised no one called that out in the quick look. Hopefully there's more of the stealth mechanics than puzzle stuff?

Don't mean to be a bummer, but I think this quick look actually made me less excited to play this. I still really want to, if only for the gorgeous art and atmosphere, which is really the main reason I liked Limbo as well.

I really wish that PlayDead would re-interpret Kid Chameleon........I don't know why though?

Both played and loved The Swapper IIRC.

Can't wait for Jeff to tell them in detail how boring gameplay-wise this game is.

This is superdissapointing. After hearing Brad talk it up during the E3 show when watching the cool looking trailer i thought this was something fresh and new but it really turns out to be a straight up Limbo 2.

"Chicks are ducks, right?"

I turned it off when they told me to. Thanks Brad / Dan / Playdead! Excited to play tonight!

Another one of these over hyped artsy games, I'll be waiting for a sale because paying full price for these types of games in the past, always leaves me disappointed. Like Firewatch, there was no gameplay, the story sucked, it had no pay off and it performed like crap, the only good thing about it was the art style. Limbo as well, not fun to play, it just had a cool art style, play it for a couple of hours and then it's over and you forget about it.

Much like Limbo, this looks visually striking but mechanically uninteresting, so I'm going to pass.

Thanks, but 'no thanks'. Just thinking about Limbo pisses me off. The trial and error puzzle design was so dumb, the story was just a bunch of random stuff thrown together and the ending was abrupt and without any closure.

Feigned or not, he just sounds dumb when saying stuff like that.

Jesus Christ y'all are some bitter mother fuckers. That being said if that machine had shredded up those chickadees instead of just sending them on a little hyper loop ride I would've gone from 60 to 0 on this game real quick.

I cannot tell from this QL where all of Brad's enthusiasm (which is contagious BTW) is coming from. I played Limbo from beginning to end in one sitting a few months back when it was on PS+. It was fine. I enjoyed it. This looks exactly the same but with better graphics. I'll play it when it comes to PS+.

They definitely have some political comments they are making here don't they? Humans blindly following the industrial rules (the bit with the being mind controlled) destroying the world and the animals that inhabit it. Taking a child who isn't yet "destroyed" by the social structure to fix it. Yeah .... Austin will LOVE this game. Political stripe not for me but I agree it is pretty pretty and the mechanics look interesting.

I would love to see a "Another World" game done in this style. It would be amazing.

Well, art is always up to interpretation by the audience. That being said your opinion and backhanded compliment have been duly noted.

@newhuman: Is more like is "is a political comment so common that is even in saturday morning cartoons". The imagery of the game itself is cool so is probably a good way to make this point better, but Brad insisting in "I'm afraid of showing more" is making me afraid that is one note game.

Wow, visually this game looks amazing. Game play wise, this game looks super boring; run to the right, and on rare occasion solve a puzzle, the game.

@brad I'm about 8 minutes into this video, and I think I've watched enough. I'll probably pick it up, but there also isn't much point in continuing watching, because everything you and Dan talk about is couched in terms of Limbo, a game I haven't played. I understand talking about the developer's previous game, especially when the new game is similar, but don't expect every person in your audience to have played or even heard of a game that game out six years ago. Maybe talk more about the game you're playing in relation to itself, rather than constantly referencing the studio's previous game.

On Twitter, Patrick said this was a game horror fans should check out and neither this video nor the review suggests that it's supposed to be a scary game, so I'm cautious about being excited for this game.

This looks pretty good, I wonder if it could run on the 360 / PS3 though? Interesting there's no PS4 port (at this point in time,............)

Or maybe you should just go and play Limbo, so you'll know what they're talking about.

I really wish ANYONE would reinterpret Kid Chameleon.
