Quick Look: Ittle Dew

Wow, this is one Legend of Zelda-esque non-Legend of Zelda game.

I lost it during that part. Oh, Vinny.

Totally Zelda inspired, and I don't just mean the gameplay; it's looks like the Wind Waker promo-artsyle, right down to the swirls in the fire effect.

For all you wanting to call this character 'Little Drew' Seems real clear to me Little Dew is a girl. And that's cool and ends there.

But you might be creating gender problems for Drew. A little late in the game now to go through all that confusion and such. That is If he can get away from the desk, cameras, sound equipment lighting, and tricaster long enough to care.

FYI. They didn't say it in the QL but if you are one of the few who have an Ouya it is also available on there as well.

Yep thought it said Little Drew then I looked at the video grab and wondered if he'd be playing flight sims in-game.

I totally figured Brad would have been a lumberjack breakfast guy, so weird he's anti pancakes. So Brad of him.

Yep, lumberjack/sawmill breakfast for me as well. Breakfast is a meal where I generally like everything on the menu, so the easiest choice is to order a bit of it all. I'll take french toast over pancakes, though.

This looks like a really satisfying lighthearted game. It's like Zelda with ADHD. I don't feel pandered to at all.

They mentioned that it is on Ouya.

This game is adorable without being overly saccharine. I like it's style.

I was more shocked he didn't know about Jam on pancakes being delicious.

This game looks really neat. I would preorder it from their site but I've already spent way too much money on games this month.

Man, what a sweet looking game. The "shop screen" is beautiful, I just want to stay there for 5 minutes and inhale everything. Love the art style.

I'm glad Quick Looks are back and that Giant Bomb seems to be rolling on despite the tragedy that happened.

This looks delightful.

I hate pancakes. I've been doing omelets for dinner, with potatoes and country gravy lately. Omelet is sausage, bacon, pepper strips, mushrooms, avocado and cheese. 2 to 3 eggs with hot and spicy seasoning. I like making one if I feel justified by working hard that day.

But I could never do that for breakfast, too damned heavy.

Dang. I really hoped those pancakes would be a hot Flan joke.

The game looks like it was crafted by people who really care about it, which is heartening. Seems a little short at just a few hours, but could be great for short play-sessions.

Don't worry about that, the title pun only works in American English anyway. ("Dew" in American is "dü", whereas the British pronunciation is "dju".)

It took me far too long to figure out that pun.

It took me the whole Quick Look to get it.

I forgot what the name of the game was and then I thought Vinny was saying 'itwilldo.com' and I didn't get the joke and then I was like 'ooooooh'

This game looks fantastic. I'm very tempted to go get it but I feel I should wait for the steam version even if they're saying they'll provide a steam key.

Reminds me of Goof Troop - god knows why but I did love that game.

I get a really nice vibe off this game. Very much feels like a puzzle focused Zelda game, which is the better part of Zelda anyway right? It's too bad there's not more items/things to find and upgrade, but for the scale of the game it seems like you can do a lot with the powers they give you.

The art style reminds me a great deal of the Scott Pilgrim color reprints. Which is a very good thing.

Didn't realize this game had been developed in Sweden until the first boss said "Let's confuse the translators" in Swedish.

This game looks charming as hell!!
