EDIT: Bah, adding a bank in with DLC. At least it isn't as bad as day 1 Dragon Age. Though it won't be much different for me.

How many times has Jeff played through this game? The Psycho guys remind me of the headless bomb-handed dudes in Serious Sam.

JEFF!  Corrosive damage against the Lance soldiers!  It wrecks through them. 
 
Also, if they add levels, they'll probably add new skills for the skill tree.  There's no point in a three-tree RPG setup to allow all three trees to be full.

I'm definitely picking this up.  I really enjoyed Zombie Island.

i certainly hope the harder arenas are repeatable

Seems forever since a Jeff and Brad QL, it's been all about Ryan, Vinny and Dave lately.

borderlands dlc disapoints me because they dont include new guns unique to the packs which is really lame. making the dlc almost pointless to me at least

That was some awesome music for the Sledge. I'm getting more interested in getting this game by every quick look.

I don't know how I feel like about a DLC that is completely arena based.

The Sledge music was great. I want that song.

Sure is nice of them to pound out some more of the same ole same ole.  For a few extra bits of profit.  Just in time for Christmas too. 

I don't get why people complain about no new gun additions in DLC packs. The basic game has over a million different variations of guns... why do you need more than that?

It looks good to me, and if I was still into Borderlands I'd probably pick it up, but the last expansion kinda finished it for me, with the Braaaaaaains trophy (I never found the guy to start the quest chain til after I finished the entire story of the expansion.  Grinding like 500 brains just made me dead tired of Borderlands).  I figured all the brains I had picked up prior to that would actually count, but apparently not. 
 
For those not burnt out on Borderlands, it looks fun though, I see no problem with it.

Is Borderlands the new Fallout?  I don't mean as similar games or anything, that arguments been hashed and rehashed, then diced and chopped and pureed for good measure.  I mean, are we going to have Borderlands talk in some fashion (be it QL's or on the Bombcast) for the next year or so like we did with Fallout?  I for one hope so!

 
Jeff if Im not mistaken I read somewhere that loot as in weapons after a boss fight will drop under Moxie's platform there where you start at.

You guys have been hawking Boarderlands pretty heavily but still haven't ever mentioned that the PC version is completely broken.  Connectivity is a huge gamble, you have to forward half a dozen ports but even then it's questionable as to whether or not you'll actually be able to connect to anyone on the internet.  Gearbox has been totaly unresponsive in terms of fixing NAT Traversal issues causing this problem and sneakily updated the game with SecuRom which was pushed out to everyone who bought on Steam (Doesn't seem to activate 'till you download and activate the Zombie Island DLC, but all the SecuRom files are still sitting on customer's computers reguardless of whether or not you buy the DLC).

Borderlands + Firefight mode = tons of fun. 
 
Can't wait.
